Night Lectures
After a day spent exploring the Amazon jungle’s incredible beauty, we do something a little different during the evening. As you relax at the lodge, our guides give you a taste of our rainforest initiatives. These Night Lectures enrich your experience and immerse you in fun, engaging stories and experiences.
These nighttime lectures cover a variety of topics, from preservation to culture to science. At our Posada Amazonas Lodge, we tell you about the unique partnership between our company and the people of Infierno, Peru. The Ese Eja community, an Amazon native culture, owns the lodge and manages it with us. At our Refugio Amazonas Lodge, on the other hand, we focus on Citizen Science, connecting everyone with rainforest research. In the days following the lectures, you’ll get a chance to join in activities they relate to!

Why You’ll Love the Night Lectures?
- Explore Amazon Sustainability: Our lodges all focus on sustainable tourism. We’re committed to using tourism to improve, not harm, local people and the natural world! Many of our Night Lectures touch on these themes, highlighting our strengths and struggles. We hope this can show how sustainability can enhance your own life as well!
- We Can Learn from You: While we’re one of the oldest ecotourism companies in the Amazon, we’re always learning more from our guests! Night Lectures give you the opportunity to learn about our current efforts and offerings. But above all, they provide the background you need to give us valuable feedback. As a result, we can continue to improve.
