Hello, I’m Claudia del Pielago

I have 13 years of experience in the tourism industry, and my journey has been one of continuous learning and growth. I started as an intern, conducting inspections of hotels and restaurants, and later transitioned to a travel agency, where I focused on selling international tours. The path hasn’t always been easy—there were both challenges and triumphs—but my passion for my career has never faded.

 

I was born in Lima, but my maternal family comes from Loreto in the Amazon. Since childhood, I’ve traveled to this incredible region every year, experiencing its magic firsthand. These journeys have shaped my deep appreciation for travel and conservation. They’ve also fueled my desire to inspire others to explore and protect the destinations they visit.

 

For the past six years, I’ve dedicated myself to working with destinations in the Amazon, a field that fills me with joy. The rainforest, with its stunning landscapes and rich biodiversity, provides a unique sense of tranquility and peace that is unparalleled.

 

Since my university days, I’ve known I wanted to work with travel agencies. This field allows me to share my passion for the destinations I represent, encouraging others to discover and experience the wonders of these places for themselves. Helping travelers create unforgettable memories is one of the most fulfilling parts of my job.

 

The Amazon inspires me with its purity and serenity. I love being immersed in nature, far from the noise of the city, and enjoying the soothing sounds of the rainforest. It’s an experience that always leaves me feeling grounded and connected.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading all kinds of books, cycling, and exploring areas beyond the city.
