Rainforest Expeditions Guide

Hey! I’m Freet Danels Arrospide Narvaes, born on November 23, 1996, in the Native Community of Infierno, where I still live today. My journey as a guide began in 2019 after studying tourism in Puerto Maldonado.

What motivated me to become a field guide is the connection I have with people and their interaction with the environment. Although I don’t have a specific specialty, I enjoy photography and love observing birds. I am a Guide at Posada Amazonas, where one of my favorite activities is visiting the Canopy Tower.

The biggest challenge I’ve faced in my work has been guiding families with children under five years old, but it’s always a rewarding experience. When it comes to my favorite animal or plant in the Amazon, I appreciate them all because each one plays a vital role in the ecosystem.

Being in daily contact with nature feels like being in paradise. I’m particularly fascinated by the biodiversity of Tambopata, especially the birds, reptiles, and amphibians. In my free time, I love taking photos of animals, plants, and landscapes. Additionally, I have a passion for photography and would like to learn another language in the future.
